My experience as a realtor: some of my achievements

Choosing the right realtor is a major decision, after all this is the person who is going to help you with the biggest purchase that you will ever make. This is why you need to make sure that you know about your realtor's background. That is why I would like to tell you a little bit about my experience and my achievements as a realtor.

I have been a realtor for more than twenty years which means that I really know the San Francisco market well. This is why I have been one of the most successful realtors in the city for years now. Ultimately the way that realtors are assessed is by how many houses they sell. This is something that I have done very well. I have consistently been in the top one percent when it comes to selling houses in San Francisco. While this is important it is not what I consider to be my biggest achievement.

In my mind a far more important achievement occurs every time that I help a client to find the right house for their needs. This is something that I take a great deal of satisfaction in and is one of the reasons that I got into real estate in the first place. It is about building relationships that last for years by making sure that people get what they are looking for when they buy a house. Selling a house is of little value if the client is not happy with the house that they got. To me the biggest achievement is knowing that I have helped people to get the house that they were looking for.

Of course you may wonder how I know that I have helped people to find the right house, I know because they often come back to me when they are ready to move. Most people change houses on a fairly regular basis, either because of changing family circumstances, kids being born or moving out, or because when they reach a higher income level they want to move to a better area. In many cases the clients that I have helped to find a house in the past will contact me to help them with their next move. This is the kind of feedback the really makes the work satisfying.

The other way that I know that I am satisfying my clients is that most of my new ones are referrals. Most of the people who contact me know about buying or selling a house do it because they know somebody who I have worked with in the past that has recommended me. This is great, partly because it makes finding clients easier, and partly because it lets me know that people are happy with the work I have done.
