Why you would want to live in San Francisco
San Francisco has long been one of the most desirable places in the United States to live. It is easy to see why, open and tolerant people in a clean city with great weather, it is hard to beat. Nevertheless there are a lot of people choosing other locations over San Francisco when they are looking for a place to live. Therefore it is a good idea to remind people why they would want to live in San Francisco.
One of the main reasons that people like to live in San Francisco is that it is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the country. There are lots of different cultures in the city and that makes for a very interesting experience. It also means that there are a lot of activities and experiences that you wouldn't have anyplace else. The people in the city are very open and very tolerant so you can live in pretty much any way that you want.
The other big reason that people live in San Francisco is the very strong economy in the area of California. The city is home to many industries in the high tech sector which means that there are lots of good jobs. The average income in the city is well above the national average and most of the people who live here live a life style that reflects that. The city is very affluent and it shows in the way that people live. Of course the downside is that San Francisco can be bit pricey to live in but it is not as bad as a lot of people think that it is.
San Francisco is also one of the most beautiful cities in the United States. The scenery is spectacular and the city itself is clean and well maintained with lots of green space. This makes it great for outdoor activities which is made even better by the great weather that the area has. It never gets too cold or too warm and though it does rain more than most people would like this is a small price to pay for the other benefits that the climate offers.
Despite being a very large city San Francisco is actually quite compact, which makes it easy to get around. Driving can be bit of hassle since the roads are so crowded but the public transit is excellent. A big part of the reason for this is that everything in the city is so close together. The excellent public transit means that it is very possible to live in San Francisco without a car and many people do just that. The compact nature of the city also makes it feel like it is a lot smaller than it actually is. The result is that it feels like you are living in a smaller community than you really are, this is something that really appeals to a lot of people.
